Ni and Ne is another spot of confusion for me. Yes, if I'm an INFJ, I should detect Ni right away, but I've never heard a good description of Ni, and I don't relate that much to jumping from idea to idea in an Ne fashion. While my mind makes conceptual jumps very often, it's not as if I see several possibilities and pick the most probable one. There is just a jump, and a conclusion. That said, I am springing from idea to idea. My conclusions and predictions don't come out of nowhere, and ah-ha moments don't usually happen for me. If they do, I tend to know exactly where the conclusions come from. Take watching American Football for example. I am infamous in my house for saying things like "the kicker is going to miss, " just before he does. I later realize that I realized that he would miss because I saw the lack of confidence in his facial expression. However, I also can see multiple ways the game might develop. If there's four minutes left and my team is up by two scores, I understand that while it is probable that my team will win, fumbles and interceptions happen.
